There will be changes in operation of public transport, customer service centres and parking lots during Christmas holidays
„Rīgas satiksme” informs that there will be changes in the operation of public transport, municipal parking lots, customer service centres and the usage of working-day monthly tickets during Christmas holidays.
Public transport (trams, trolleybuses, buses)
On December 24, 25 and 26, the public transport will run according to holiday schedules.
Passengers having bought monthly tickets for working days should take into account that these tickets will not be valid on festive days, i.e. on December 24, 25 and 26.
Customer service centres
The customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53 will be closed from 15:00 of December 21, 2018 until 10:00 of January 2, 2019 due to repair works.
On December 22, all customer service centres, except that located at Brīvības Street 49/53, will be open from 10:00 until 16:00.
On Sunday, December 23, and on Monday, December 24, the customer service centre at Spīķeru Street 1 will be open from 10:00 until 16:00, the other six customer service centres will be closed.
On December 25 and 26, all customer service centres will be closed.
Parking lots
On December 24, 25 and 26, services of paid parking lots of Riga municipality operated by „Rīgas satiksme” will be available free of charge, except the underground parking lot at Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street 5a, where parking services will be charged for according to the current tariffs.
Minibuses, express buses, night transport
On December 24, 25 and 26 minibuses and express buses will run according to Sunday’s schedules.
The night transport will be provided in the night of December 21/22 and December 22/23.
