There will be changes in operation of public transport, parking lots and customer service centres on Easter holidays
„Rīgas satiksme” informs that there will be changes in the operation of public transport, municipal parking lots and the usage of monthly tickets for working days on Easter holidays – from April 19 until April 22.
Buses, trams, trolleybuses
On Easter holidays, on April 19, 20, 21 and 22, public transport will run according to the holiday schedules.
Passengers who have bought monthly tickets for working days shall take into account that on festive days – Friday, April 19, and Monday, April 22, these tickets will not be valid.
Customer service centres
On Thursday, April 18, the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53 will be open from 8:00 until 17:00, but the other six customer service centres will work as usually on working days, i.e. until 19:00. On the holiday eve, the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 191 will serve legal persons from 8:00 until 16:00.
On April 19, 21 and 22, all customer service centres will be closed.
On Saturday, April 20, the customer service centres will be open from 10:00 until 16:00, except the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53, which will be closed on this day.
Parking lots
On April 19, 21 and 22, the pay parking lots operated by „Rīgas satiksme” will be available free of charge, except the underground parking lot at Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street 5a (next to the House of Congresses) where parking services will be charged for according to the existing tariffs also on holidays.
On Saturday, April 20, pay parking lots will work as usually on Saturdays – parking lots in tariff zones A, B, C, D will work from 9:00 until 17:00, and in Old Riga from 6:00 until 24:00.
Minibuses, express buses, night transport
On Friday, April 19, and on Monday, April 22, minibuses and express buses will run according to the Sunday schedule.
The night transport will be available in the night of April 19/20 and in the night of April 20/21.
