There will be changes in public transport schedules and use of tickets on May 4

"Rīgas satiksme" informs that on the Independence Restoration Day of May 4 (Friday) public transport will be running according to holiday schedules, but minibuses – according to Saturday schedules.

Night transport will run in the nights of May 3/4, May 4/5 and May 5/6. We remind that tickets in the night transport are only available from driver for 1 lats.

Those passengers having bought one-month tickets for workdays should take into account that these will not be valid in public transport on May 4.

For our clients’ comfort one customer service centre will be open on May 4, at Spīķeru Street 1 (from 10:00 till 16:00). Pay parking-lots operated by "Rīgas satiksme" will be free of charge on May 4, except for those located in Old Riga, where parking will be for pay. 

Also on May 4, due to the Big Tug of War Contest, there will be changes in the traffic and routes of public transport from 14.00 till 16.30, traffic delays are also possible.

Trolleybuses on route No. 5 will run from terminal „Daugava stadium” by the route to Raiņa Boulevard, then in Raiņa Boulevard, 13th Januuary Street, 11th November Embankment, across Akmens Bridge, then in Uzvaras Boulevard, Raņķa dambis, across Zund canal bridge, on Zund embankment to its connection with Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, then turn around under Vanšu Bridge, then run in Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street to Baložu Stret and further by the route. From terminal „Clynical Hospital” trolleybuses will run by the route to Kalnciema Street, then in Kalnciema Street, Daugavgrīvas Street, Raņķa dambis, Uzvaras Boulevard, across Akmens Bridge, on the 11th Novemner Embankment, 13th January Street, Merķeļa Street, Kalpaka Boulevard to K.Valdemāra Street and further by the route.

Trolleybuses on route No. 12 will run from terminal „Šmerlis” by the route to Raiņa Boulevard, then in Raiņa Boulevard, 13th January Street, 11th November Embankment, across Akmens Bridge, then in Uzvaras Boulevard, Raņķa dambis, across Zund canal bridge, on Zund embankment to its connection with Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, then turn around under Vanšu Bridge, then run in Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street to Baložu Street and further by the route. From terminal „Āgenskalna priedes” trolleybuses will run by the route to Kalnciema Street, then in Kalnciema Street, Daugavgrīvas Street, Raņķa dambis, Uzvaras Boulevard, across Akmens Bridge, on the 11th November Embankment, 13th January Street, Merķeļa Street to Brīvības Bouleverd and further by the route.

Trolleybuses on route No. 25 will run from Iļģuciems to Ķīpsala and back. A part of this route between Vanšu Bridge and terminal „Brīvības Street” will be closed.

Buses on route No. 13 will run from terminal „Babīte railway station” by the route to   Daugavgrīvas Street, then in Daugavgrīvas Street, Raņķa dambis, Uzvaras Boulevard, across Akmens Bridge, on 11th November Embankment, in 13th January Street, Marijas Street and further by the route. From terminal „Preču – 2” buses will run by the route to Marijas Street, then in Marijas Street, 13th January Street, 11th November Embankment, across Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Raņķa dambis, Daugavgrīvas Street and further by the route.

Buses on routes No. 37, 41 and 53 will run from Pārdaugava by their routes to Slokas Street, then in Kalnciema Street, Daugavgrīvas Street, Raņķa dambis, Uzvaras Boulevard, across Akmens Bridge, on 11th November Embankment, in 13th January Street, Railway Terminal Square, Merķeļa Street, Brīvības Boulevard to bus stop „Freedom Monument”. On the way back to Pārdaugava, buses will run in Brīvības Boulevard, Raiņa Boulevard, 13th January Street, on 11th November Embankment, across Akmens Bridge, in Uzvaras Boulevard, Raņķa dambis, across Zund canal bridge, on Zund embankment, turn around under Vanšu Bridge, then run in K. Valdemāra Street and further by their routes.

Minibuses on routes No. 236, 237 and 241 will run from Pārdaugava by their routes to Slokas Street, then in Kalnciema Street, Daugavgrīvas Street, Raņķa dambis, Uzvaras Boulevard, across Akmens Bridge, on 11th November Embankment, in 13th January Street, Railway Terminal Square, Merķeļa Street, Kalpaka Boulevard, K. Valdemāra Street and further by the route. On the way back to Pārdaugava, buses will run by the route to Brīvības Boulevard, then in Brīvības Boulevard, Raiņa Boulevard, 13th January Street, 11th November Embankment, across Akmens Bridge, in Uzvaras Boulevard, Raņķa dambis, across Zund canal bridge, on Zund embankment, turn around under Vanšu Bridge, then run in K. Valdemāra Street and further by their routes.
