There will be changes in public transport traffic during „Toyota Riga Cycling Marathon” on June 4

„Rīgas satiksme” inform that from 13:00 till 17:00 of June 4 there will be changes in public transport traffic and some public transport stops will be closed due to „Toyota Riga Cycling Marathon”. During the above period passengers who have bought tickets for the changed trolleybus and bus routes will be allowed to use these tickets on other bus, trolleybus and bus route to reach the necessary destinations, without registering the trip.

Buses

Bus No. 10 will run from the city centre by the route to Akmens Bridge, than across   Akmens Bridge and along Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further by the route. In the direction of the centre the bus will run by the route to Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve, then along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve to the turnabout without reaching Mūkusalas rotation circle, then along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve until turning to Bauskas Street, then along Bauskas Street, Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, Akmens Bridge and further by the route.

Bus No. 12 going in the direction of co-operative society „Ziedonis” will run from 13:00 by the route to Satekles Street, then along Satekles Street, 13th January Street, 11 November Embankment, across Akmens Bridge, along Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Jelgavas Street, Bauskas Street, Ziepniekkalna Street, Jāņa Čakstes gatve, Bauskas Street and further by the route. There will be no changes in the direction of the centre.

Bus No, 23 will run from the centre by the route to Akmens Bridge, then across Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Jelgavas Street, and further by the route to Ziepniekkalna Street, along Ziepniekkalna Street, Jāņa Čakstes gatvi, Bauskas Street and further by the route. In the direction of the centre the bus will run by the route to highway A7, then in highway A7, in Ziepniekkalna Street, Bauskas Street, and further by the route to Akmeņu Street, then along Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, Akmens Bridge un and further by the route.

Bus No. 26 will run by the route to Akmens Bridge, then across Akmens Bridge, along Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further by the route. In the direction of the city centre the bus will run by the route to Jelgavas Street, then along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, Akmens Bridge and further by the route.

Buses No. 13, 37, 41 and 53 will run during the cycling marathon from Pārdaugava to the city centre across Vanšu Bridge without turning to Ķīpsala. |The „Ķīpsala” stop will be transferred to the main lane.

Bus No. 57 will not stop at the „Ķīpsala” stop during the cycling marathon when going in the direction of the centre.

Trolleybuses

Trolleybus No. 5 will run from Pauls Stradiņš hospital to Daugava stadium across Vanšu Bridge without turning to Ķīpsala. The „Ķīpsala” stop will be transferred to the main lane. The traffic of trolleybuses in the direction of Pārdaugava will not change.

There will be delays on trolleybus route No. 9 due to traffic restrictions in Raņķa dambis and Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street (before Vanšu Bridge).

Trolleybus No.12 will run from Āgenskalna priedes to Šmerlis across Vanšu Bridge without turning to Ķīpsala. The „Ķīpsala” stop will be transferred to the main lane.

The traffic of trolleybuses in the direction of Pārdaugava will not change.

Trolleybus No. 19 will run from Pētersalas Street to Ziepniekkalns and back across Salu Bridge, without turning to Mūkusalas rotation circle (like bus No. 40).

Trolleybus No. 24 will run from Pētersalas Street to A/S Dzintars and back across Salu Bridge, without turning to Mūkusalas rotation circle (like bus No. 40).

Trolleybus No. 25 will run from Iļģuciems to Brīvības Street across Vanšu Bridge, without turning to Ķīpsala. The „Ķīpsala” stop will be transferred to the main lane.

The traffic of trolleybuses in the direction of Pārdaugava will not change.

Trolleybus No. 27 will run from Ziepniekkalns to Railway Terminal Square by the route to stop „Bieķensalas Street”, then along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, Akmens Bridge and further by the route. On the way back from Railway Terminal Square to Ziepniekkalns the trolleybus will run across Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further by the route.
