There will be changes on bus route No. 50 from 19:00 of September 20 till 12:00 of September 21

From 19:00 of September 20 till 12:00 of September 21 approximately repair works will be carried out at the level crossing in Krustpils Street, which will result in the level crossing’s closure for transport traffic and changes on bus route No. 50. To ensure passenger transportation during the above period, bus route No. 50 will be divided into two parts, and passengers will need to make a transfer in Krustpils Street to reach the necessary destination.

Buses will run from the city centre to bus stop „Krustpils Street 53” (next to JSC „Grindeks”), then turn about and go back to the centre. To continue their way to TEC-2, passengers will have to go through the level crossing and transfer to bus No. 50 at the bus stop for the other part of the route.

From TEC-2, buses will run by the route to the level crossing in Krustpils Street, and passengers will have to get off the bus there, as bus stop „Level crossing” will be closed in this direction. To go further to the city centre, passengers will have to go through the level crossing and go to bus stop „Krustpils Street 53”, where they will have to transfer to bus No. 50 for the other part of the bus route.

Bus schedules from the city centre will not change, yet they will change from TEC-2 to enable passengers to transfer quickly and continue their way to the necessary destination. It should be taken into account that the trip will last longer, the duration of the route will not change however.

Those passengers having bought tickets/registered their trip in either part of the route, may continue their way after crossing the railway and transferring to the other part of the route without buying another ticket or registering the trip.
