There will be changes on some public transport route as top layer of asphalt will be laid in K. Valdemāra Street
During the period from 22:00 of September 7 till 6:00 of September 8, public transport will not run in a part of Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street between Kalpaka Boulevard and Skanstes Street.
Changes from 22:00 of September 7.
Trolleybus No. 3 and buses No. 11 and 24 will go from the city centre by the route to Merķeļa Street, then along Merķeļa Street, Kalpaka Boulevard, Pulkveža Brieža Street, Ganību dambis, Bukultu Street, Duntes Street and further by the route.
Trolleybus No. 3 and buses No. 11 and 24 will go in the direction of terminals „Abrenes Street” and „Central Market” by the route to Duntes Street, then along Duntes Street, Bukultu Street, Ganību dambis, Pulkveža Brieža Street, Kalpaka Boulevard, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and further by the route.
It is planned that:
- the first run of trolleybus No. 3 going by the changed route will depart from terminal „Sarkandaugava” at 21:54, and from terminal „Central Market” at 21:47;
- the first run of bus No. 11 going by the changed route will depart from terminal „Abrenes Street” at 21:50, and from terminal „Suži” at 21:35;
- the first run of bus No. 24 going by the changed route will depart from terminal „Abrenes Street” at 22:05, and from terminal „Mangaļsala” at 21:06.
Bus No. 20 will run to terminal „Pļavnieki Cemetery” by the route to Elizabetes Street, then along Elizabetes Street, Brīvības Street, Stabu Street and further by the route.
It is planned that the first run of bus No. 20 going by the changed route will depart from terminal „Pētersalas Street” at 22:22.
Trolleybus No. 5 will go in the direction of terminal „Pauls Stradiņš hospital” by the route to Tallinas Street, then along Tallinas Street, Cēsu Street, Brīvības Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Kalpaka Boulevard, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and further by the route.
Trolleybus No. 5 will go in the direction of terminal „Daugavas stadium” by the route to Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, then along Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, Raiņa Boulevard, Brīvības Boulevard, Brīvības Street, Tallinas Street and further by the route.
It is planned that the first run of trolleybus No. 5 going by the changed route will depart from terminal „Daugava stadium” at 21:47, and from terminal „Pauls Stradiņš hospital” at 21:44.
Trolleybus No. 12 will run in the direction of terminal „Āgenskalna priedes” by the route to Brīvības Street, then along Brīvības Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Kalpaka Boulevard, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and further by the route. It is planned that the first run of trolleybus No. 12 going by the changed route will depart from terminal „Šmerlis” at 21:36.
Please note that on September 7, 2017 the run of trolleybus No. 12 departing from terminal „Āgenskalna priedes” to depot No. 1 at 22:38, 23:05 and 23:33 will go by the route to Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, then along Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, Kalpaka Boulevard, Pulkveža Brieža Street, Ganību dambis.
Trolleybus No. 25 will run in the direction of terminal „Iļģuciems” along Brīvības Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Kalpaka Boulevard, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and further by the route. From Iļģuciems, the trolleybus will go by the route to Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, then along Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, Raiņa Boulevard, Brīvības Boulevard, Brīvības Street, Tallinas Street, Cēsu Street and further by the route.
It is planned that the first run of trolleybus No. 25 going by the changed route will depart from terminal „Iļģuciems” at 21:31, and from terminal „Brīvības Street” at 21:42.
Changes until 6:00 of September 8
Bus No. 11 which departs from terminal „Abrenes Street” at 5:34 will go from the terminal by the route to Merķeļa Street, then along Merķeļa Street, Kalpaka Boulevard, Pulkveža Brieža Street, Hanzas Street, Skanstes Street, Duntes Street and further by the route.
Trolleybus No. 5 going in the direction of terminal „Pauls Stradiņš hospital” until 6:00 will go by the route to Tallinas Street, then along Tallinas Street, Cēsu Street, Brīvības Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Kalpaka Boulevard, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and further by the route. The trolleybus will go in the direction of terminal „Daugava stadium” by the route to Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, then along Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, Raiņa Boulevard, Brīvības Boulevard, Brīvības Street, Tallinas Street and further by the route.
Trolleybus No. 5 going in the direction of terminal „Iļģuciems” until 6:00 will go along Brīvības Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Kalpaka Boulevard, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and further by the route. From Iļģuciems, the trolleybus will go by the route to Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, then along Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, Raiņa Boulevard, Brīvības Boulevard, Brīvības Street, Tallinas Street, Cēsu Street and further by the route.
As a result, runs of some trolleybuses departing from depot No. 1 of No. 2 will change:
- Trolleybus No. 3 will depart from depot No. 1 to the Central market at 5:18 and will go by the route to Duntes Street, then along Duntes Street, Bukultu Street, Ganību dambis, Pulkveža Brieža Street, Kalpaka Boulevard, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and further by the route.
- Trolleybus No. 3 will depart from depot No. 2 to Sarkandaugava at 5:21 and will go by the route to Merķeļa Street, then along Merķeļa Street, Kalpaka Boulevard, Pulkveža Brieža Street, Ganību dambis, Bukultu Street, Duntes Street and further by the route.
- Trolleybus No. 5 will depart from depot No. 1 to Daugava stadium at 4:53 and 5:20, and will go along Ganību dambis, Pulkveža Brieža Street, Elizabetes Street, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and further by the route.
- Trolleybus No. 5 will depart from depot No. 1 to Pauls Stradiņs clinical at 5:21, and will go along Ganību dambis, Pulkveža Brieža Street, Kalpaka Boulevard, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and further by the route.
- Trolleybus No. 22 will depart from depot No. 1 to the Central Railway Terminal at 4:45, 5:06, 5:21, 5:35, 5:50, 5:58 and will go along Ganību dambis.
Asphalting works may be postponed to another day because of bad weather conditions.
