There will be changes on some public transport routes in the night of July 27/28 due to laying asphalt in Kalpaka Boulevard
There will changes in public transport traffic from 22:00 of July 27, 2018 until 6:30 of July 28, 2018, due to the laying of the upper asphalt layer in the part of Kalpaka Boulevard from Brīvības Boulevard to Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street.
Buses No. 2 and 24 – will run from the city centre by the route to Merķeļa Street, then along Merķeļa Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Dzirnavu Street, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, Kalpaka Boulevard and further by the route.
Trolleybus No. 3 and bus No. 11 – will run from the city centre by the route to Merķeļa Street, then along Merķeļa Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Dzirnavu Street, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and further by the route. On the changed route, stop „Museum of Art” will be closed, and trolleybuses and buses will stop at stop „Tērbatas Street” (in Brīvības Boulevard).
Bus No. 13 – will run in the direction of terminal „Babīte Station” by the route to Merķeļa Street, then along Merķeļa Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Dzirnavu Street, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and further by the route.
Bus No. 20 – will run from terminal „Pētersalas Street” by the route to Brīvības Street, then along Brīvības Street, Dzirnavu Street, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, Kalpaka Boulevard and further by the route. Stop „Esplanade” will be closed on the route. On the changed route, the bus will stop at stop „Elizabetes Street” (in Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street).
Buses No. 37, 41 and 53 – will run from terminal „Esplanade” along Brīvības Boulevard, turn about at the crossing of Brīvības Boulevard and Raiņa Boulevard to run in the opposite direction and then run along Brīvības Boulevard, Dzirnavu Street, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and further by the route.
Trolleybuses No. 19 – will run from terminal „Pētersalas Street” by the route to Merķeļa Street, then along Merķeļa Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Dzirnavu Street, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, Kalpaka Boulevard and further by the route.
Trolleybuses No. 11, 13, 15, 19 and 22 will run to trolleybus depot No. 1 (along Ganību dambis) by the route to Merķeļa Street, then along Merķeļa Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Dzirnavu Street, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, Kalpaka Boulevard and further by the route.
Minibus No. 224 and express bus No. 300 – will run from terminal „Railway Terminal Square” by the route to Merķeļa Street, then along Merķeļa Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Dzirnavu Street, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and further by the route.
Minibuses No. 237, 241 and express bus No. 336 – will run from Esplanade and Baznīcas Street along Brīvības Boulevard, turn about at the crossing of Brīvības Boulevard and Raiņa Boulevard to run in the opposite direction and then run along Brīvības Boulevard, Dzirnavu Street, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street and further by the route.
In case of bad weather conditions, the asphalting works may be postponed to another day.
