There will be new schedules on some public transport routes as of June 1
"Rīgas satiksme" informs about introducing new schedules for working days and holidays on some public transport and minibus routes as of June 1. Like in previous years, "Rīgas satiksme" will make changes in traffic of buses No. 3, 24, 29, 30 and 36 for passengers’ comfort to improve connection with Mangaļsala, as well as beaches of Vecāķi, Daugavgrīva and Vakarbuļļi.
As the summer season begins, "Rīgas satiksme" will change schedules of some public transport routes in accordance with passenger flow measurements and, like every year, will provide residents with more comfortable transportation to and from beaches, resting places and gardens located in Riga.

From June 1 stop „C/C Bolderāja” of buses No. 3, 30, 36 and 56 will change name to „C/C Daugavgrīva”, which is the true name of the surrounding area. As a result of this change, bus route No. 3 „Bolderāja – Pļavnieki” will change name to „Daugavgrīva – Pļavnieki”, bus route No. 30 will change name from „Central Railway Terminal – Bolderāja” to „Central Railway Terminal – Daugavgrīva” and bus route No. 56 „Bolderāja – Ziepniekkalns” will change name to „Daugavgrīva – Ziepniekkalns”.
From June 1 till August 31, bus No. 36 will run to Vakarbuļļi more frequently. On Saturdays, Sundays and festive days, from around 9.00 AM, bus No. 3 will run to Vakarbuļļi beach, but bus No. 30 will run also on Saturdays, Sundays and festive days until August 31.
From June 1 and till the end of the summer season the route of bus No. 29 will be extended to Vecāķi, and the bus will run by route „Mežciems – Vecmīlgrāvis – Vecāķi”. The number of runs of bus No. 24 will be increased to improve public transport traffic to Mangaļsala. Given the changes of bus routes No. 24 and 29, changes will be also made in bus routes No. 2 and 19, accordingly.
As of June 1 new schedules will be introduced for bus routes No. 2, 3, 9, 12, 19, 24, 29, 30, 36, 37, 41 and 56 on working days and holidays, and for bus routes No. 15 and 31 on holidays.
To ensure more comfortable transportation to recreation places located in Riga city, the number of runs on tram route No. 11 on holidays will be increased as of June 1.
The summer schedule of tram route No. 2 „Central market – Tapešu Street” will be harmonized with the schedule of trains running on route „Riga – Tukums – Riga”.
As of June 1 new schedules will be introduced for tram routes No. 2 and 7 on working days and for tram route No. 11 and the Retro tram on holidays.
From June 1 till August 31, there will be new schedules for trolleybus routes No. 15 and 22 on working days and holidays.
Based on passenger flow measurements and residents’ proposals, several minibus routes and schedules will be changed as of June 1.
From June 1 till August 31, a part of runs on minibus route No. 200 „Railway Terminal Square – Vecdaugava” will be extended to Vecāķi, but the route’s schedule will remain unchanged.
The working day schedule of minibus routes No. 237, 241, 204, 208, 222, 238, 242 and 263 will be changed.
Minibus No. 204 „Centre – Jugla” and 267 „Centre – Sarkandaugava” will not run on Sundays and festive days.
Minibus No. 244 „Central Railway Terminal – Iļģuciems” will run on Saturdays according to the existing Sunday and festive day schedule, but will not run on Sundays and festive days.
Minibus routes No.208 and 263 will have new schedules on Saturdays, as well as on Sundays and festive days. The holiday schedule of minibus No. 242 „Central Railway Terminal – Imanta” will be changed.
Minibus route No. 246 „Centre – Bolderāja” will change name to „Centre – Daugavgrīva”.
