Time-limit until which „Pupil’s e-cards” for pupils of 5th and 10th forms can be applied for at www.eriga.lv is extended until September 10
Parents of Riga’s pupils of 5th and 10th forms, as well as of pupils changing school, may apply for a „Pupil’s e-card” at www.eriga.lv until September 10. If the application is submitted on September 11 or later, it will be possible to receive „Pupils e-cards” in „Rīgas satiksme” customer service centres only.
„Rīgas satiksme” reminds that applications for pupil’s e-cards shall be filled in at www.eriga.lv, where data of the pupil and the school where he/she goes will be selected automatically. A photo of the pupil also has to be attached to the application. „Rīgas satiksme” will manufacture pupil’s e-cards remotely, based on the data submitted, and will deliver the e-cards to respective schools, where headmasters will sign them and issue to pupils.
If the application is filled in at www.eriga.lv after September 11, then one will have to go after the „Pupil’s e-card” to the selected customer service centre, having taken an identity document with him/her. For the „Pupil’s e-card” to fulfil its functions, it has to be signed by the headmaster of the respective school. „Rīgas satiksme” calls on parents to submit applications for the „Pupil’s e-card” until September 10 to be able to receive the card at school and to avoid waiting in queues in customer service centres.
Starting from academic year 2015/2016, in order to make the procedure of application for the pupil’s e-card and its restoration faster and more convenient, the IT centre of Riga City Council together with „Rīgas satiksme” and Riga City Council’s Department for Education, Culture and Sports have developed a new electronic service „Application for pupil’s e-card”, which enables parents to submit a remote application for a new card.
