To secure free use of “Rigas satiksme” public transport in the new study year, the company invites parents of the 1st, 5th and 10th grade pupils of Riga and parents of the pupils who are changing the education establishment to formalise the Pupil’s card on the website www.eriga.lv by August 25. If the Pupil’s card on the website www.eriga.lv is formalised by August 25, from September 1, it may already be received in the education establishment where the child studies, without the need to visit one of the customer service centres.
“Rīgas satiksme” explains that when completing the application for making of the Pupil’s card on the website www.eriga.lv, the data about the pupil and the school where the child studies are selected automatically. Only the pupil’s photo must be attached to the application. On the basis of the received application, “Rīgas satiksme” will deliver the prepared Pupil’s cards to the respective schools.
Pupil’s card is a pupil identification document for pupils of Riga which secures free travel in “Rīgas satiksme” public transport. The card must be received by all pupils who start studies in grade 1. It must be replaced in the beginning of studies in grade 5 and 10. A new Pupil’s card must be obtained by those pupils who change their education establishment or whose personal data change.
