Training transport of “Rīgas satiksme” gets new design
As of February 2020, “Rīgas satiksme” starts to introduce a new design for its driver training vehicles in order to attract new employees – tram and trolleybus drivers and other specialists. At present, TROL category drivers are trained in the trolleybus of the new design, to which one training tram and one training bus of the new design will be added in the nearest future.
The body of the training trolleybus of the new design is painted yellow, thus preserving the previous design of training tram, and has one grey line added in the lower part. The side of the trolleybus bears a well noticeable training vehicle symbol – a red letter M in a red triangle and inscription “Es mācos!” (“I learn!”).
Each training vehicle of the new design will bear on its sides different slogans calling to join “Rīgas satiksme” team. The already redesigned trolleybus promotes slogan: “Pievienojies “Rīgas satiksmes” kolektīvam arī Tu!” (“You too - join “Rīgas satiksme” team!”) with contact information about employment opportunities at the company – hotline number 20361862 and website address www.rigassatiksme.lv.
