Bus traffic to Vakarbuļļi and Mangaļsala to be improved in summer season
For passengers’ comfort, from May 18 till September 1 buses No. 36 will run to Vakarbuļļi more frequently. At the same time, starting from May 18, on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays buses on route No. 3 will run to Vakarbuļļi beach. The number of buses on this route will not be increased, yet the route itself will be by 7.345 km longer and therefore intervals between the runs will be increased. At the same time, to improve bus traffic between the city centre and Bolderāja, starting from May 18 bus No. 30 will also run on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. At present, this bus No. 30 runs on workdays only.
To improve bus traffic to Mangaļsala, the number of buses on route No. 24 will be also increased on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Schedule of bus route No. 2 on holidays will be also changed accordingly.
