Working hours of customer service centres will be extended on January 31 and February 1

"Rīgas satiksme" informs that on Saturday, January 31, customer service centres, except the one located at Brīvības ielā 49/53, will be open from 10:00 till 18:00. On Sunday, February 1, customer service centres, except the above mentioned at Brīvības Street 49/53, will be open from 10:00 till 16:00. The changes are being made so that working pensioners, part-time students and external pupils up to the age of 19 who have declared their place of residence in Riga could register the status giving the right to reduced fare in public transport.

The customer service centres are located at Brīvības Street 191, Brīvības Street 384b, Prāgas Street 1 (entrance from the canal side), Kurzemes Avenue 137, Vienības gatve 117A (the former terminal of trolleybus No. 27 „Ābolu Street”), Spīķeru Street 1. The centres will be open on January 31 from 10:00 till 18:00. The customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53 will be open on January 31 from 9:00 till 15:00. On February 1 customer service centres at Brīvības Street 191, Brīvības Street 384b, Prāgas Street 1 (entrance from the canal side), Kurzemes Avenue 137, Vienības gatve 117A (the former terminal of trolleybus No. 27 „Ābolu Street”), Spīķeru Street 1 will be open from 10:00 till 16:00. The customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53 will be closed. Customers can also apply for visiting the service centres in advance on the website of "Rīgas satiksme" at https://pieteikums.rigassatiksme.lv/TimeSlot/Register.

"Rīgas satiksme" reminds that working pensioners, part-time students, as well as external pupils up to the age of 19, declared in Riga, are entitled to reduced fare in Riga public transport. To receive the status which gives the right to reduced fare, persons of the above categories have to visit one of customer service centres of "Rīgas satiksme".

Persons having no personalized e-ticket/Riga resident’s card

working pensioners, part-time students and external pupils of comprehensive educational institutions up to the age of 19 who have declared their place of residence in Riga, may visit one of "Rīgas satiksme" customer service centres and fill in the application form to receive the status which gives the right to fare discounts. In the customer service centre, they have to present an identity document, a valid e-ticket/Riga resident’s card, but part-time students also have to present a valid student card and external pupils – a valid pupil card.

Persons having no personalized e-ticket/Riga resident’s card

working pensioners, part-time students and external pupils of comprehensive educational institutions up to the age of 19 who have declared their place of residence in Riga may receive an e-ticket/Riga resident’s card in one of "Rīgas satiksme" customer service centres. In the customer service centre, they have to present an identity document, but part-time students also have to present a valid student card and external pupils – a valid pupil card.
