Ernst & Young to assess the possibility of terminating public transport procurement contracts
“Rīgas satiksme”informs about the decision to sign an agreement with international audit company SIA “Ernst & Young Baltic” (EY) about the possibility of terminating the contracts on the procurement of buses, trolleybuses and trams and the assessment of risks.
Under the agreement, in one month EY will perform the legal assessment and analysis of the procurement procedures and documentation of “Rīgas satiksme”, as well as will prepare and submit to “Rīgas satiksme” a financial report, a legal report on signing and fulfilment of the contracts concerned, a report on the risks of fraud and their prevention. These reports will be taken into consideration by “Rīgas satiksme” board when deciding on further steps.
