You can pay for parking using a mobile app, SMS, or a parking payment terminal. Please note that payment must be made within 5 minutes of parking your vehicle. Once parking payment has been terminated, the parking area must be vacated within 15 minutes.
Payment via Mobile App
To pay for parking using your mobile phone, download one of the following applications:
- Rīgas satiksme
- EuroPark
- Mobilly
Important: Payment must be made within 5 minutes of parking your vehicle. Once parking payment has been terminated, the parking area must be vacated within 15 minutes.
Payment via SMS
To use this payment method, please note that it is a Mobilly service and requires a registered Mobilly account.
To start a parking session, send an SMS to 1859 with the text START, followed by your vehicle registration number and the parking zone code. For example:
START NT1234 V
To end the parking session, send STOP to the same number.
Important: Before sending the SMS, ensure that your Mobilly account has sufficient funds, your vehicle registration number has been entered correctly, and the appropriate parking zone has been selected.
Payment at a Parking Terminal
After completing your payment at a parking terminal, your receipt will be issued electronically rather than in paper format. You can receive it in one of the following ways:
- By scanning the QR code displayed on the screen
- By email
- Through the “Electronic Receipts” section on the website
Important: Payment must be made within 5 minutes of parking your vehicle. Once parking payment has been terminated, the parking area must be vacated within 15 minutes.
A disabled parking permit or monthly subscription pass must be clearly displayed on the vehicle’s dashboard so that parking inspectors can easily verify its details, validity period, and identification number.
