Types and prices of tickets (from 01.01.2014.)
One-month ticket
- valid for one month* from the first registration day;
- number of trips is not limited;
- to be used within 12 months after purchase, except for cases when the tariff is changed and a transitional period is set;

* If the ticket is bought for one or several months, then its validity period is set from the start date till the same date of next or another month (not inclusive), or, if there is no such date in the calendar month, then till the preceding date of next or another month (inclusive).
Ticket for a certain number of trips
- this ticket type may be purchased on a blue or a yellow e-ticket, as well as on a Riga resident’s card (group tickets may be only loaded into a yellow ticket or a Riga resident’s card, a ticket for 50 trips may be only loaded into a blue e-ticket and a Riga resident’s card, but reduced tariff trips may be only loaded into a personalized e-ticket or a Riga resident’s card);
- to be used within 12 months after purchase, except for cases when the tariff is changed and a transitional period is set;

Time ticket
- ticket for a certain period of time – 5, 3 days, as well as 24 hours;
- may be bought on a yellow e-ticket;
- to be used within 12 months after purchase, except for cases when the tariff is changed and a transitional period is set;

Ticket sold in public transport
- paper ticket – sold in public transport only (price – EUR 1.20 / LVL 0.84, in night transport – EUR 1.50 / LVL 1.05);
- pets ticket – sold by public transport driver (price - EUR 1.00 / LVL 0.70).

Minibus ticket prices
- this ticket type may be purchased on a blue or a yellow e-ticket, as well as on a Riga resident’s card (a ticket for 50 trips may be only loaded into a blue e-ticket and a Riga resident’s card);
- price of a paper ticket (sold in minibuses only) – EUR 1.00/LVL 0.70;
- to be used within 12 months after purchase, except for cases when the tariff is changed and a transitional period is set;
- prices are proposed by "Rīgas mikroautobusu satiksme" and approved by the Commission for Licensing of Commercial Passenger Transportation Services of Riga City Council.
In case the tickets for EUR 0.60 loaded into an e-ticket or a Riga resident’s card are over, but there are still minibus tickets for 0.70 euro, these will be accepted in public transport and passengers shall take into account that the difference in ticket prices will not be returned!
